Jasmina Haskovic…
… is a photographer, writer and storyteller who lives and creates in London. She has been writing all her life but has never shared any of her work with anyone before this collection. This is her first poetry book and her first attempt to share her work with the world. Ask the butterfly encapsulates the journey of the girl who finds and becomes the woman she had always been before she somehow lost herself and forgot who she was. Each poem has an accompanying photo of the girl or woman, deepening the readers’ experience of the poetry. Jasmina loves rain, lives for chocolate, adores tea and is obsessed with pugs. On her days off, you will probably find her at home on her cloud above London, surrounded by crystals; reading, writing and daydreaming, or at her favourite coffee shop eating a cake. She believes in love and naps. And kisses.
